ARE THERE ANY AGE LIMITS AND WHAT IS THE AVERAGE AGE ON THE TRIPS?
To travel aboard Oh! So Croatia you must be a minimum of 18 years old. The average age on our trips is 24.
IS OH! SO CROATIA GOOD FOR SOLO TRAVEL?
Not good. Perfect! A lot of people travel with Oh! So Croatia on their own, but you wouldn’t know it by the end of the trip. You’ll meet all sorts of people from all over the world and quite a few locals too. We’ve had people start off as strangers and become lifelong friends. The great people you meet is one of the best things about Oh! So Croatia.
HOW MUCH TIME IS SPENT ON THE BUS?
The average time spent on the bus per day is 1 hour. On most days we spend only 15 minutes in the bus since we exlplore the surrounding area of our overnight destination for a couple of days.
IS ACCOMMODATION INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF MY TRIP?

IS ACCOMMODATION BEFORE AND AFTER MY TRIP INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
You need to book your own accommodation before and after the trip if you need it. We have great hostels to recommend in all cities we depart from. In Zagreb this is hostel Bureau which is just a few minutes away from our departure point. In Zadar, Tequila Bar hostel right in the center of the old town, Goli Bosi hostel in Split, which is also right in the center of the gorgeous old town and My Way hostel in Dubrovnik which is at a great location right between the old town and the main coach station.
WHICH HOSTELS WILL I BE STAYING IN?
We have made sure to include the best hostels in every overnight destination. Most of them are the newest hostels you can find in the best locations! You can have a look through all of the hostels you'll be staying in on our accommodation page!
ARE THE DORM ROOMS MIXED OR UNISEX?
All of the dorms on our way are mixed dorms. We always look to set the rooms up in the most convenient way possible for our passengers, and where we can we will separate girls and guys.
CAN I REQUEST A PRIVATE ROOM?
Yes, you can request a private room, but you need to know that there are only a few private rooms available at all of the hostels. There is an additional charge for booking private rooms. Please send us an inquiry if you would like to book one.
WHAT ACTIVITIES CAN I DO ON MY WAY?
Tickets to national parks are included in the price of your trip. Island quad biking, bungee jumping and zip lining are optional activites which you can decide to do once you get here!
HOW DO I BOOK OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES?
Once you purchase your trip with us, you will get a checklist of all the optional activities. The optional activities are island quad biking, bungee jumping and zip lining. Two weeks prior to your arrival you must let us know which activities you're interested in so we can book ahead!
WILL WE HAVE ENOUGH TIME IN PLITVICE AND KRKA NATIONAL PARK?
Yes! We make sure that you have enough time for roaming through both national parks. We spend between 4 - 5 hours in each national park!
WHAT IS THE PRICE OF THE OPTIONAL ACITIVITES?
Island quad biking is 25 EUR, bungee jumping is 40 EUR and zip lining is 50 EUR per person.
IS FOOD INCLUDED?
Some hostels on your trip come with included breakfast. Apart from that, other meals are not included. We'll be doing frequent stops to supermarkets so you can stash up on food. Also, your guide will make sure to recommend and organize lunch/dinner with great Croatian or international cuisine you will love!
WHAT TIME DO THE TRIPS DEPART?
The trips that start from Zagreb depart at 08:00 AM from Zrinjevac park in the center of the city. Bus trips start in Zadar depart at 12:00 PM from the Garden Lounge bar in the center of the city. The trips that start in Split depart at 11:00 AM from the main bus station.
WHAT TIME DO THE TRIPS FINISH?
The trips that end in Zadar are scheduled to finish at 11:00 AM in the center of Zadar. Bus trips that end in Split are scheduled to finish at 03:00 PM in the center of the city. Bus passes that end in Dubrovnik are scheduled to finish at 03:00 PM at the main bus station.
WILL I ALWAYS TRAVEL WITH THE SAME GROUP?
Some people will get off in Zadar, new people will join in in Split and so on. As the bus cruises the crowd changes which means you will get to know a variety of different people from all over the world. This is one of the best things about Oh! So Croatia!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?
Sunglasses, beach towel, swim suite, flip flops, sun screen, short clothes, a pair of sneakers if you'll be doing the adventure activities, MP3 player so we can plug it in and play your tunes on the bus and of course your good mood. Croatia's beaches are mostly not sandy, but pebbly. If you have sensitive feet make sure to buy water shoes!
IS THERE A LUGGAGE LIMIT?
Please bring a backpack, or a small hand luggage size suitcase.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS MY BUS, IN THE MORNING?
Please make sure you are on time and have respect for the other passengers as you are not traveling alone. It is required we leave at scheduled times and will do so.
ARE FLIGHTS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF MY TRIP?
No, flights are not included in the price of the trips, therefore it's best to book your trip and flights as early as possible to get the best deals on both!
CAN I PUT IN A DEPOSIT TO SECURE MY PLACE?
You can put in a 70 EUR deposit to secure your place on any of our trips. The remaining amount can be paid in as many instalments as you like, but no later than 30 days before the start of your trip.
